I ONCE LOVED (YOU)
January 2019
I once loved,
the greatest war of them all,
the ability to kill people with a smile
and using only words was made specifically for you.
I once fell for a smile as bright as Andromeda,
for eyes as dark as a black hole,
with absolutely no training i was left unsupervised
carrying just an oxygen tank near a wormhole.
I once lost everything for that so called wormhole,
gravity held me down,
and a burning star told me that i could not be loved,
in the blink of an eye time begun.
I once held a ticking clock in my hands,
counting down on life as a bomb,
it was then that I understood
we are just a whisper of the universe.
I once loved you,
I thought of you so high that jupiter felt small compared to you.
the moon woke me up from insanity,
slapping my face with stardust I saw the truth.
